TV3 presenter blasts Hannah Tetteh for asking ‘silly’ question

A presenter with TV3 Network Limited, Komla Klutse has blasted former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hannah Tetteh for daring to ask if any Ghanaian media house was going to send reporters to cover the crisis in The Gambia.

In a Twitter post, the former Foreign Affairs Minister had wondered whether “some of our media houses will send reporters to cover developments in Gambia” since her only updates “so far” had been from “BBC and Al Jazeera”.

But in a reply on his Facebook wall, the TV3 presenter was of the opinion that Ms Tetteh could not be asking for any such thing from the Ghanaian media since she refused to talk to journalists and treated them with disdain during her time as minister.

“You have the morals to as such a silly question (with all due respect). Do you know what it takes to report on potential conflict situations across the world?”, he asked.

Ms Tetteh’s time as the Minister of Foreign Affairs was characterised by a lot of media snubs which to her being tagged as arrogant.
