Torture of Modernghana Journalists Unacceptable – Dr Omane Boamah

Former Minister of Communications under the John Mahama Administration, Dr Edward Omane Boamah has bemoaned the tortured of the Deputy Editor-In-Chief of modernghana.com Emmanuel Ajafor by National Security Operatives.

Modernghana.com is an online News portal and is rumoured to have published an article that supposedly revealed some “evil” deeds of the National Security Minister Hon Kan Dapaah and the entire Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo led administration.

The Deputy Editor was arrested by the National Security after a raid at the modernghana office and he subsequently revealed that he was tortured with electricity and subjected to severe beatings while in the BNI custody.

Dr Edward Omane Boamah in a tweet said it is unacceptable to torture journalists as a firm of enhanced interrogation.
