Togbe Afede XIV, the Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State and President of Asogli Traditional Area is next to endorse the “Ghana + Peace” by Obiba Sly Collins.
Togbe Afede XIV and his counsel of elders and other sub-chiefs embraced the campaign at the climax of the Asogli State Yam Festival over the weekend in Ho on Saturday, September 17. As part of the campaign the symbolic calabash for peace was taken given to Togbe Afed XIV to sign.
The peace campaign team was led by the Volta Regional Minister, Mrs. Helen Ntoso, to meet Togbe Afede XIV at the durbar grounds – she also endorsed the project. Opinion leaders and representatives of other political parties in the Region also endorsed the peace calabash.
GHANA + PEACE CAMPAIGN 2016 which was successfully launched on 18th August 2016 at the Obiba Foundation office premises in the presence of the founder Mr. Obiba Sly Collins, Mr. David Wincott, Mr. Sylvester Mensah Collins, Hon. Frances Asiam, Madam Kalsoume Sinare, Anna Kelly, Mr. Gordon Frazer, Mr. Charles Langton among others touring Northern Ghana already; other stops soon hit the other areas of the country.
Obiba Sly Collins, who is currently finalizing studio work on his next album “Reality” is due to launch it officially on November 12, laced with a mega concert in Accra. 6 singles off the album has already been released with some accompanying videos.
