Tikobo Number 1 Endorses President Mahama

The people of Tikobo 1 in the Jomoro constituency of the western region have assured the President John Dramani Mahama of their massive support in the 2016 general elections.

The assurance was given at Tikobo 1 when the president interacted with them on his way to commission a newly built cold store at Half Assini as part of his “Accounting to the people” tour in the western region.http://ghanapoliticsonline.com

He was forced to stop over for an interaction by a large crowd. They held ply cards with inscriptions like,

“we will push you for another term as president”, J.M toaso, ” we love you Mahama ” They assured the president that, they will vote massively for him and the NDC candidate in the constituency.

They proclaimed that, the developmental projects that have gone on in the constituency by the past and present NDC government are unprecedented.

This endorsement and assurance has putting fears in the NPP parliamentary candidate who was born and bred in the town where he currently lives. These were indications that the people of Tikobo 1 were going to vote for the NPP candidate but the endorsement of the president seems to have changed the direction of the contest.

It will be recalled that, NPP candidate Paul Essien was allegedly caught on tape campaigning for president Mahama at Elubo recently. Story by Daniel Kaku
