This is why Solomon Nyantakyi killed his mum and sister in Italy

Young Ghanaian footballer, Solomon Nyantakyi was badly influenced prior to killing his mother and younger sister, according to former Argentine striker Hernan Crespo.

Nyantakyi shocked Italian’s and Ghanaians alike earlier this week when news broke that the young Italian-born Ghanaian confessed to killing his mother and 11-year-old sister.

The 21-year-old midfielder was a very promising prospect in the Parma youth academy until their bankruptcy in 2015.

Speaking to Gazetta dello Sport, former Argentine star player Hernan Crespo, who is also the Vice President of Parma, said the young player was talented but “did not have a positive attitude.’’

“He was under contract, earned two thousand euros a month, but he was inconsistent, he did not commit, he did not have a positive attitude.”

“’Executives and I left him out after I had played some twenty games, I knew he was visiting strange people near the station, who was going to sell fake goods, in short, a guy who was not simple.

“Bankruptcy had disappeared from the locker room, but nobody ever knew who had been … Anyway, when I knew of the double murder, it was a choke for me. He was a hard guy, but even killed his mother and sister … “.
