It is amazing how Ghana’s leading opposition, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is quick to point accusing fingers at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, as regards the issue of corruption, when its flagbearer, Nana Akuffo-Addo and national chairman, Frederick Worsemao Armah Blay, popularly called Freddie Blay, are leading the institutionalization of corruption within the NPP.http://ghanapoliticsonline.com

The Informer is reporting on solid authority that, there is a lot of fighting currently ongoing within the NPP, over the control of 2016 campaign cash.

There is no denying the fact that, Mr. Freddie Blay’s insatiable appetite for money, is drawing a big wedge between him(Blay) and dead-horse Peter Mac Manu, who is supposed to be the Campaign Manager.

One of the persons who took exception at the hypocritical behavior of Nana Addo, was the Deputy General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Koku Anyidoho, who believes that the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2016 flagbearer, does not deserve what he is asking for, considering his oppressive style of leadership.

Wanting to become president of the Republic of Ghana ‘at all cost’ after having failed twice in 2008/12, Nana Akuffo Addo, campaigning in some churches in Takoradi and Effia constituencies in the Western Region Sunday, begged the congregation and for that matter, the good people of Ghana to try him, by voting for him, as president.
Election 2016 – Ghana will not die’-Prez assures nation

The President, John Dramani Mahama, has reiterated the assurance given by his former boss, late Professor John Evans Atta-Mills that, Ghana will not die’, but will continue to remain peaceful even before, during and after the country’s upcoming general election, slated for November 7, 2016.

Mr. Mahama encouraged Ghanaian citizens living abroad, investors and the world at large to remain calm, because the upcoming polls, would be peaceful, despite the political argumentations and debates.

The President who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, noted that, the seeming hurly-burly and the heightened political debates in the country, is ‘’normal’’ and therefore, all and sundry should be assured of a smooth elections.
Inciting Sujects against fulanis – House of chiefs, Ministry must call chiefs to order

Sensing how seriously the propensity of hate speeches could plunge Ghana into security crisis, some concerned Ghanaians are calling on the noble institutions like the Professor John S. Nabila-led National House of Chiefs, and the Ministry for Chieftaincy and Traditional Affairs, to caution chiefs against inciting their subjects to violence, as means of airing their grievances.

Being the Acting President of the Kwahu Traditional Council, Nana Akyemfo Asiedu Agyemang, delivering a speech during the re-launch of ‘’Operation Cow Leg’’- a police-cum-military campaign to drive out Fulani herdsmen, said to be causing trouble in that rea-apart from indicating how resolved they are to fight until the last drop of their blood, to drive away these Fulani herdsmen, also urged his people to come along with deadly weapons.
