Tension Mount at NPP Suame Constituency

Some members of the opposition New Patriotic Party NPP at the Suame Constituency are gunning to shut down the Party’s Office following the rumored suspension of the Constituency Chairman , Mr. Kennedy Atta Marfo , on allegation of misconduct and misappropriation of Party funds

Exclusive information available to Ghanapoliticsonline.com, Agyapong Maxwell reveals, that the Regional Chairman of the NPP ,Mr. Benard Antwi Boasiko popularly called ‘ Chairman Wotumi’ at a locked up meeting with Suame Constituency executives pronounced the Suspension of the Chairman on the back of a petition he said had been brought against Mr. Atta Marfo by 2 members of the party accusing the Chairman of misconduct and misappropriation of funds meant for the Party’s campaign in the lead up to the general elections in December .

Our source at the constituency told us that , Chairman Wotumi has warned the constituency executives and the Incumbent MP , Hon. Kyei Mensah Bonsu to keep the matter in secret , but our checks indicates , Mr. Sam Pyyne , the Regional Secretary forced the embattled chairman , Atta Marfo to signed a bond to be good behavior some time ago.

In an exclusive interview with some staunch members of the Party , who described their Constituency Chairman as affable and hard working, told us they are baffled by the turn of events in the Constituency , indicating it is a plot by the Part hierarchy in the region to distant him from the campaign cash in order for them to use it for their personal gains . they have since given the National and Regional Executives up to tomorrow , 08/ 09/2016 to reverse the supposed suspension of Chairman Atta Marfo or they will take over the party office and forcibly run the affairs there.

Meanwhile, when Angel News contacted the embattled Chairman , Mr. Kennedy Atta Marfo for his side of the story , he has since in his suspension , remained tight lipped on the matter, but our sources close t o Angel News reveals , he , Mr. Atta Marfo intends to expose the dealings of the Regional Executives in the Constituency .
