Switch from service providers who render poor services

Minister of Communications, Dr Edward Omane Boamah is urging Ghanaians to change networks as a way of punishing service providers who do not offer quality and favourable services to consumers.

In an interview with Onua News, the Minister observed that bad services restrict operations of people, adding that if businesses could flourish in the country, then service providers should diligently work on the concerns of their customers.

He further advised consumers to engage their service providers in meetings and discussions so that they can present their grievances and concerns for redress.

However, if these concerns are not properly addressed to the satisfaction of customers, they should feel free to engage other competing brands that are ready to meet their needs, Dr Boamah encouraged.

The Communications Minister gave the advice when he addressed participants at a media launch to announce Busy Internet’s switch to a 4G Network in Accra today.

The 4G data service would serve customers in Accra and Tema and would afford customers the chance to upgrade to the service with high speed which is also cost effective. Customers would also be able to have free access to the various social media platforms.

In another development, the Minister of Communications tasked small and medium scale enterprises to work diligently as well as follow religiously the fundamental principles governing the business sector in the country.

The move, according to him, would enhance their operations and ensure they grow to rub shoulders with the giant companies in the industry.

Dr Boamah further urged management of Busy Internet to make customer relation its number one priority. He also pledged government’s unflinching support to help the company enhance its operations.
