Sunyani Technical University inaugurated

The Vice Chancellor of the Sunyani Technical University, Prof. Kwadwo Adinkra-Appiah, has expressed the hope that the conversion of Polytechnics will help address the dwindling enrolment in Polytechnics due to stiff competition from Private and Public Universities.

He called for the establishment of more technical schools while existing ones are adequately equipped to produce students for the Technical Universities.

Prof Adinkra-Appiah was speaking at the inauguration of the Sunyani Technical University in the Bono-Ahafo Regional capital.

The event also doubled as the first matriculation since the upgrading.
