Sulley Muntari: “I want to be back to the Black Stars”

Sulley Muntari is eyeing a comeback to the senior national football team of Ghana to fulfil his unfinished business with the team.

The 32-year-old is yet to earn a Black Stars call-up, after he was thrown out of the team’s camp for indecent during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

He apologised last year for his actions and opened his doors for a call-up, however, the Black Stars handlers are yet to give him another opportunity.

Muntari has commended the Black Stars, as they compete in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and has again expressed his quest to be recalled into team.

“I want to be back to the Black Stars. The whole team is doing amazing things Asamoah Gyan, Dede Ayew and his brother,” he told Happy FM.
Sulley Muntari is currently with Pescara in the Italian Serie A.
