Statistical Service report indicates 2.5% growth in economy

Figures released by the Ghana Statistical Service indicate that Ghana’s economy grew by 2.5% in the second quarter of 2016.

The second quarter of 2015 saw a growth of 3.8%.

In comparison, the economy grew at a slower rate in the quarter under review.

The government statistician, Dr. Philomena Nyarko, announced this at a media briefing in Accra.
