The Leader of the youth who were yesterday planted in traffic to share campaign materials of President John Dramani Mahama, Ms Francisca Adjei has passionately reacted to an earlier story published by this website, by insisting that her team of campaigners, #iChooseJM, spent over 5 hours under the sun, campaigning for the Flagbearer of the NDC.
Ms Francisca Adjei in a telephone conversation with the Editor of this website was unhappy about a supposed mischief she detected in the earlier story published here under the heading “SHORTAGE OF #iChooseJM CAMPAIGN MATERIALS FORCE ORGANISERS TO END STREETS CAMPAIGN”.
In seeking to set the records straight, Ms Francisca Adjei, popularly known as Franca, subtly admitted to the shortage of their materials, but demanded that the reporter should have concentrated on the long hours that these committed youth spent under the sun in traffic, defying all the associated risks, so as to help sell their President and chosen candidate.
Below are excerpts of the statements made by Franca when she called the Editor:
“WE SPENT MORE THAN 5 HOURS IN TRAFFIC UNDER THE HOT SUN FOR JM. WE WORKED HARD TO LET PEOPLE SEE HIS ACHIEVEMENTS. SO WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL THE PUBLIC THAT, BUT YOU CHOSE TO REPORT ON THE SHORTAGE OF CAMPAIGN MATERIALS. I CAN SEE MISCHIEF IN YOUR STORY. WE ARE HOWEVER NOT DISCOURAGED, BECAUSE THE MAN WE’RE WORKING FOR IS TOO GOOD A PRODUCT THAT WE CAN’T AFFORD NOT TO CHOOSE HIM. WE WILL CHOOSE JM TODAY, TOMORROW NEXT WEEK, NEXT MONTH AND BEYOND. MY BROTHER, JUST WATCH OUT FOR US. WE WILL BLOW YOUR MIND WITH ANOTHER CAMPAIGN CONCEPT SOON. MARK MY WORDS. WE ARE YOUNG, BUT WE MEAN BUSINESS IN THIS YEAR’S CAMPAIGN. YOU CONTINUE SENDING YOUR REPORTERS TO SPY ON US. VERY SOON THEY WILL COME BACK TO THE OFFICE TO TELL YOU, THAT THEY ALSO CHOOSE JM. I WISH TO SEE HOW YOU WILL REACT ON THAT DAY, SIR.”
