Yesterday, the usual monthly meeting scheduled for the last Friday of every month, for OBAATANPA KUO FOR NAANA IN LOWER WEST AKIM was held.
Their main objective is to form a formidable women base in NDC and also help in the Realization of NDC’s dream to win the parliamentary seat in Lower West Akim and for John Mahama to win the presidential election in general come Nov 7
Parliamentary Candidate for the constituency siezed the opportunity to thank them for their loyal support and also thanked the NDC family as a whole.
She also stresses that indeed all is set for the interest free loan she promised them, which will serve as capital to those who want to set up some small business to cater for their family only if the money will be used for the intended purpose.
She also said that plans are being laid for the advanced training in making of Parazone,Soap and Sobolo as well as few handiwork so members can manage themselves even in difficult times.
The President of the group Madam Sisi Comfort who also happens to be the mother of Shirley NAANA Osei Ampem told her members that their core objective is to ensure that NDC wins the 2016 general elections both parliamentary and presidential. She added that in other for this objective to be achieved, more people must be be drawn in the group irrespective of their political background since they will also be beneficiary to Shirley’s numerous intervention plans for them
The group also outdoored it constitution to the general house, which is subject to amendment before the final approval.
