“Shamoo JM Group” Kick-starts Operation 57% Campaign

A Youth Group dubbed ‘Shamoo JM Group ‘aimed at securing 57% victory for president Mahama and his NDC party has kick-started campaign run up to the November 2016 general elections.

The founder,     Amadu Tijani Gbadamoshi aka Shamoo, told The Republic Newspaper in Accra that the performance of the NDC party led by President John Dramani Mahama is unprecedented in the history of Ghana; hence their decision to rally behind the president and help him secure a touch win in the upcoming elections.

Shamoo pointed out that even the opposition, led by Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, and all other parties can attest to the fact that JM led NDC government has done a lot in just three (3) years.

He cited completed and ongoing infrastructure in the Health sector, Education, Housing, the water sector, energy sector etc.

Shamoo argued “there is no past government that could claim has solved all problems in one sector or the other”.

Pointing out that “like the challenge in the energy sector, which though work is still going, a lot has gone in to curtail problems there; but other sectors also have peculiar challenges which they need government attention as well”.

He reiterated “the NDC led JM administration has executed massive work in all the sectors than any government, and works are ongoing on the uncompleted projects across the country”, hence the groups believe that if the president gets a second term he could turn the fortunes of the country around.

“To this end, we take it upon ourtself to work hard to achieve the 57% target for JM, in election 2016”, he assured.
