Several properties destroyed as NPP, NDC supporters clash in E/R

Today marks exactly one week after supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) going on a health walk clashed with private security men at the Nima residence of the presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in Accra leading the police to swiftly intervene.

But with the police are yet to conclude their investigations into the Nima incident, another incident like that has happened in New Juaben North Constituency of the Eastern Region.

According to reports, supporters of both parties going on separate health walks clashed on Sunday morning leading police in the area to intervene and force both groups to call off their walks and return home.

The actual cause of the clash is not yet not known but several properties have reportedly been destroyed.
