Seidu Kotomah Appointed As New Controller and Accountant General

President John Mahama has appointed Seidu Kotomah as the Controller and Accountant General.

Until his appointment Mr. Kotomah was the Deputy Controller and Accountant General in Charge of Financial Management Services.

He has held a number of positions including the Director of the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System GIFMIS, Head of Payroll, Director of Internal Audit and Investigation and Head of Main Accounts.

Mr. Kotomah has also served as Treasury Officer in Washington DC and Assistant Treasury Officer in London.

He was employed by the Controller and Accountant General`s Department, in September 1989.

He brings to the position a wealth of experience in Public Sector Accounting spanning over 21 years.

Mr. Kotomah is a Chartered Accountant by profession.
