Second Lady Mrs. Amissah-Arthur donates to School and Clinic in Cape Coast

Wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Matilda Amissah-Arthur last Monday donated quantities of medical equipment and educational materials valued millions of cedi’s to the Central Regional Police Experimental Basic School and the Regional Police Clinic at Cape Coast in the Central Region.

Donating the items Mrs. Amissah-Arthur pleaded with the management of the facility, take good care of the items.

The wife of the Vice-President, inspected the two facilities and commended the Police clinic management and staff for the good job done so far and also encouraged them to do more to ensure quality healthcare.

She said the objective for the donation was to help in her own small way to the School and the clinic.

Earlier, Mrs. Amissah Arthur presented a set of reading materials to the Central Regional Police Experimental Basic School.

Mrs. Matilda Amissah- Arthur was taken round for inspection and also interacted with the children.

She used the opportunity to advise the children to learn hard in order to be future leaders.

She advised the children to take their studies serious, in spite of the challenges.

Mrs. Amissah-Arthur called on the head teacher and teachers of the school to help the children make good use the books by reading regularly in order to enhance their academic performance.

She commended the school and the school children, their teachers for doing well academically and encouraged them to do more.

She also encouraged the clinic staff and asked them to also do more to ensure quality healthcare to the people.

Mrs. Amissah-Arthur was accompanied by the Regional Minister Kweku Rickets Hagan and the Regional Police commander. ACP. Kwame Tachie-Poku.
