Ghana’s First Lady and President of the Organisation of Africa First Ladies Against HIV and AIDS OAFLA Lordina Mahama, has stated that the UN’s ambitious Sustainable Development Goals SDGs can largely be achieved by nations if they pay attention to Adolescents sexual health issues.
According to her, Adolescents form both the present and future generation so there is the need to empower them to form the required human resource for development.
The First Lady was speaking at a session on improving the sexual reproductive health of Adolescent girls on the margins of the 71st UN General Assembly.
She said already OAFLA has diversified means of raising funds to assist Adolescents reproductive healthcare.
