Sack all Head Teachers in Assin Land for not Giving Proper Sex Education –Pressure Group tells GES

The Network for ASSIN Development is calling on the government as a matter of urgency to sack all the Head Teachers of both the Basic and the Senior High School in the Assin Land for failing to give the students proper sex education.

According to them, as a result this, teenage pregnancy has sky rocked in the area leading to unnecessary school drop-out in the Assin Land.

The Network for Assin Development, noted that teachers in the various schools have woefully failed.

 Because we believed it is important for schools to grow the habit of giving sex education to teenagers to reduce high birth.

“We are calling on all the stakeholders including DCE, MCE, and Gender Minister to collaborate to enact laws to regulate irresponsible patenting,

More so, parents who fail to take proper care of their wards must be arrested.

The Network is also calling on all stakeholders, opinion leaders and faith-based Organisations to   to help the high rate of teenage pregnancy in the ASSIN
