Ridge Hospital not a refurbishment but a fully functional ultramodern new facility being built. Bawumia must stop the lies

Mr. Fred Williams Adomako, a marketer says the running mate of the npp, Dr. Bawumia must stop the lies or get his facts right whenever he intends to organize a public lecture.

According to Dr. Bawumia during his public lecture yesterday, the Legon teaching hospital which is a new building cost $217 million while the Ridge hospital which is a 200 bed facility being upgraded to a 400 bed facility is costing the nation $250 million but Mr. Fred Williams Adomako in an exclusive interview with Ghanapoliticsonline.com said it’s a big lie and Dr. Bawumia should cross-check his facts before coming out to embarrass himself.

According to Mr. Fred Williams Adomako, the Ridge hospital is not a refurbishment but a fully functional ultramodern new hospital being built on an occupied site. He also said the project is a 629 bed facility with the first phase of the project being the 400 bed capacity hospital which is currently ongoing and the second phase of 229 bed capacity structure will commence once the first phase is completed. He recalled how the npp use to claim that the project was going to cost us $306 million till the health ministry exposed that lie and was surprised that Bawumia decided to go with the $250 million cost but refused to state the fact that it was a 629 bed facility being built from the scratch.

When asked about his opinion on the lecture by Dr. Bawumia, he said it’s either Dr. Bawumia is a liar and therefore organized a lecture to tell lies or he does not know anything about stuff he talks about hence invited people to preach ignorance to them.

He concluded by urging political parties to go out there and campaign based on facts because if they can’t be honest, they can at least be factual in order not to dent their image.
