Speaking on the Hitz Gallery on Hitz FM, he revelated that he is now rich so money is no problem to him at all. ‘Adwen Kessie’, as he is popularly called, Dabo said that he even sometimes gives loans to people in need of money and added that he does not give less than a thousand Ghana cedis. The award-winning actor told the host, Dr. Pounds, that he comes from a relatively poor background but movie making has changed his life for the better. Mr Dabo said his mother initially opposed to his decision to venture into acting, but she is now proud of his achievements after he made it to the top. He revealed that he was not brilliant in school so he decided to venture to into acting when he completed junior high school. “Most of my classmates are now proud to affiliate themselves with me because of my popularity,” he said gladly. Asked how many movies he has featured in and which one is his favourite, he said he has so far featured in 50 movies. His favourite movie he said is the one he has just featured in with famous comedian Kalybos and ace actor Majid Michel titled, ‘Amakye and Dede’.
