SO WHAT IS REALLY AKUFO-ADDO’S & NPP’S MESSAGE FOR GHANA

Ghana’s fledgling democracy is gradually been threatened by a constitutionally and legally sanctioned “closet” criminal organisation under the guise of a political grouping called the NPP. The state of the NPP now under the watch of the belligerent Akufo-Addo has turned or metamorphosed into a “monster” of a sort headquartered at Asylum Down, Accra. Clearly the party has turned itself into a huge monstrosity that is highly intolerant and impervious to public criticism.

Many times i ask myself what kind of President will Akufo-Addo be like in the most unlikely event that he becomes President of Ghana come November 7, 2016?

Is he going to activate his vindictive and belligerent attitude on the people of Ghana?

Is he going to intimidate and cow everybody into submission just because they dissent with him?

Is he going to be a democratic dictator who is not amenable to dissenting views?

Again Is he going to be someone who will rise up to the challenge to condemn irresponsible conducts and not glorify violence? Just recently a known NPP activist Baah Acheamfour was attacked in a Kumasi based Fox Fm.. Few days ago the MP for Mahyia North, Collins Amankwaa for allegedly sabotaging Akufo-Addo. Prior to this a lot of killings and fighting have occurred within this same party and nobody including the flagbearer has raised a whimper apparently because those acts of misconduct benefit (he) Akufo-Addo. You may recall the case of the NPP man at Asawase, Abubakar Sidique,, MP for Abuakwa North JB Danquah Adu, Upper East regional chairman Adams Mahama and many others.

One will imagined that Akufo-Addo as the leader of the party may rise up to the challenge to forcefully condemn these acts rather than glorifying same for reasons best known to him.

Finally and more importantly is Akufo-Addo going to be so evil – minded that he will contrive schemes to acidify, engage in killings and murdering of Ghanaians who may differ with him?

Well time will certainly tell!!

So beyond this, what is really Akufo-Addo’s message for Ghana going into this year’s elections?

I have always been of a firm conviction that Akufo-Addo and NPP does not a message for Ghana. Their only motivation to wrestle power is to create, loot and share as they showed in 8 years tenure under kuffour. Their wish to clinch to power is to grab everything at an arm stretch distance. They steal everything from peacocks to splash lands, to bungalows and to dubious awarding of contracts.

This has been and will always be their true motivation to want to clinch unto power at all cost. They have no concrete, coherent and well – thought out message for the people of Ghana going forward into 2016 polls.

I can bet my last penny on it that the NPP do not have a message, not even an inkling of it. Otherwise they will not go as far using joy fm as a conduit to solicit for views by placing containers at vantage points to elicit for opinions to help the NPP come out with a concrete message.

But in all these, one finds it extremely surprising and incredulous that a flagbearer of a major opposition party wants to President of Ghana yet does not know why he wants to be President. Akufo-Addo doesn’t know why he wants to be President? His message will tell us why he wants to be President but unfortunately he doesn’t know why he wants the power he has been clamouring for ages.

If this is not serious that a flagbearer of an opposition party doesn’t know why he wants power, then i don’t know what else it is.. It appears as though that, as a people we have lowered the presidency so much so that any character at all can wake up anytime to want to become the President of Ghana. This is awful enough.

In the 2012 elections the NPP under the same clueless Akufo-Addo campaigned on the infamous free SHS. They campaigned on this policy without realising that you cannot start a free SHS without a commensurate social infrastructure in place.

In this year’s elections having realised that this lofty policy of theirs has fallen flat because the Mahama led administration is implementing the free SHS with the commensurate social infrastructure they made a U turn.

They started campaigning on dumsor making so much cacophonous noise about a problem that is no fault of John Mahama. Clearly they didn’t care this is an old age problem that has arisen as a result of past government”s actions and inactions. They thought dumsor will never end so they can campaign on it come November 7.

Today dumsor is gone. Today dumsor is now a thing of the past and Akufo-Addo has badly been exposed by his lack of message for Ghana going forward into the upcoming polls..

In conclusion, now that dumsor is over, WHAT IS AKUFO-ADDO’S MESSAGE FOR GHANA?
