Read full report why Police acquitted Asenso-Boakye, Abu Jinapor

Controversial Musician and sympathiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Asare Obeng popularly called A Plus lately cited Messrs Francis Asenso-Boakye and Samuel Abu Jinapor, both deputy chiefs of staff, in a bribery claim after the two allegedly compelled the Chief Executive Officer of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr Felix Anyah, to award a revenue-collection contract to uniBank when that same contract had earlier been awarded to Stanbic Bank.

A Plus considered the said action by the two chiefs of staff as corrupt following which he accused them publicly causing the President to refer the case to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for investigation.

In a leaked audio recording, a senior female police officer was heard saying the the final police report was massaged.
The phone conversation between the deputy CID Boss, ACP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah and A Plus calls to question the integrity of the Police’s investigations into the corruption allegation.

A copy of the full investigative report by the CID, which according to the Police revealed no clear evidence of inappropriate behaviour suggesting corrupt deals by the two government officials is hereby published below.
