PUBLISH AND DISCUSS OMARI WADIE’S THREATS ON THE PRESIDENT LIKE YOU DID TO MONTIE 3

I am one person who has always had problems with how our media handle issues in this country based on which political party (npp or NDC) the story is coming from and which of them the story exposes.

I chanced upon Omari Wadie’s tape in which he threatened President Mahama that “what happened to Mills awaits Mahama if he pardons Montie 3”. I immediately decided to send the story to all media houses to see if they will publish it like they did when the Montie 3 issue came up because I wanted to prove that the perception I have about the media was wrong.

Anyway, they have made me realize I had the perfect perception about media outlets in Ghana so far because since I sent the story to all media outlets including myjoyonline.com and citifmonline.com in the morning up till now, only GhanaWeb.com and Ghanapoliticsonline.com have published it. Ahotor fm is the only radio station I have heard discussing the issue since morning.

Are some media outlets covering up the evil plans of Omari Wadea because it will affect the npp negatively??? Are some media outlets in bed with the npp yet pretend to be honest and neutral in public??? Are they showing professionalism??? There are many questions than answers but I leave the rest to the general public to judge.

Our journalists in Ghana must act like professionals and stop being stomach journalists. All media outlets must publish and discuss this issue while I hope the security agencies also do their work.
