Professor Mike Oquaye Is An Indictment To The Establishment Of NPP- ALLIANCE OF NPP SHALL LIVE

Some card bearing members of the New Patriotic Party who identify themselves as “ALLIANCE OF NPP SHALL LIVE” with the sole aim of making the “PARTY SUPREME AND NOT DEMAGOGUES” have issued a press statement calling the bluff of the mischievous comments made by Professor Mike Ocquaye.

In the statement copied to GhanaPoliticsOnline.Com The group allege that Professor Mike Oquaye ran errands for the first family of the land at the flagstaff house.

They have also accused the History Professor as poisoning the airwaves with “wicked lies”. The group further stated that, Professor Mike Ocquaye is a mercenary of the party’s demagogue Akufo-Addo and that, his vain desire to please Akufo-Addo is the cause for his abandonment of independent reasoning .

The group is also calling on the party’s embattled National Chairman Paul Afoko to come out and speak to the “frivolous and groundless” allegations which formed the petition of “Akufo-Addo’s cousin Nana Fredua and some rented “hungry” northerners” against him.

The ALLIANCE  OF NPP SHALL LIVE has taken notice of a repulsive and mischievous comment made by the party’s head of legal and constitutional committee, and author of the book ‘Politics  In Ghana’ ,  Professor  Mike Oquaye yesterday after the “contrived political judgment” made by Akufo-Addo’s ‘capo’ , Justice Anthony Yeboah in the case against the NPP by our party’s National Chairman Paul Afoko.

Whiles we disagree with the verdict , we are urging on our party’s National Chairman Paul Afoko to appeal against this “Akufo-Addo inspired Judgement” at the highest level. Having said that, Professor  Mike Oquaye who is a member of the party’s venal council of elders , a body in charge with the mandate to solve disputes within the NPP, was on the airwaves adding insults to injury. Professor Mike Ocquaye is reported on several media platforms to have stated that, our National Chairman Paul Afoko should “Confess before he is accepted” by that group of miserable ventriloquist, lame fanatics and frustrated mercenaries of Akufo-Addo who call themselves “the Party”. To the best of our knowledge,  confessions has always been made publicly .

We are very much concern about upholding the principles that gave rise to this party , which is mutual respect for one another , standing up for the truth, tolerance for each others views and the strive for Unity in diversity. Indeed, our National Chairman Paul Afoko, even before picking nominations to contest his position, has always acted and shown in great length, these principles. It is very irritating and disturbing to see no less a person of Professor Mike Oquaye who should have known better, rather engages in chaotic acts that indicts and breaches these common principles and the very establishment  of our party.

After the ruling in the case of our National second vice chairman Sammy Crabbe, Professor  Mike Oquaye in his attempt to please “Emperor” Akufo-Addo,  poisoned the airwaves with wicked concoctions of lies as he claimed Former Chairman Haruna Esseku was suspended. Fact is Haruna Esseku was never suspended as National Chairman of the NPP. Indeed, Haruna Esseku seeked re-election in 2005. How could that have happened if he was suspended? The obnoxious attempt by a seedy looking Baptist pastor Mike Okwey, to please a mortal in Akufo-Addo and for worldly vanity, are the reasons why the learned professor has chosen to abandon independent reasoning.

Let it be stated unequivocally that , Professor Mike Oquaye and his Son Mike Okwey Junior are the dish washers of the Mahama family at the Flag staff house. Several authentic reports available has revealed how Professor Mike Okwey took a range rover for his son-deputy communications director of the NPP  and numerous cash and kind benefits for himself from Ibrahim Mahama. As part of his responsibilities to the Mahama family, Professor Mike Oquaye serves as an intermediate between Akufo-Addo and his buyable friends and the First Family.

We are concern about the vexatious and utter disgusting charges against our National Chairman Paul Afoko from Akufo-Addo’s cousin, Nana Fredua and those rented ‘hungry’ northeners who are only regarded as second fiddles  by Akufo-Addo. In as much as confessions are made in the public, We are by this statement calling on and urging our National Chairman Paul Afoko to come out and respond to these frivolous charges PUBLICLY- radio,  television, magazine, and even with the use of international press. We are very much concern about preserving the dignity of all NPP party members.
