Professor Martey, Owusu Bempah are false prophets – Solomon Nkansah

Communications Director of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah has dared two clergymen to name the people they claimed came to bribe them to stop criticizing government.

According to him, claims by outgoing Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rt. Rev. Professor Emmanuel Martey and Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah that they have been indeed bribed with money and a vehicle by some politicians are borne out of malice.

The outgoing Presby Moderator has received a lot of backlash for alleging he refused to accept $100,000, a house and four wheel drive vehicle from a politicians meant to gag him from criticizing the Mahama-led government.

To make the issue murkier, the founder and leader of the Glorious Word Church, Rev Owusu Bempah corroborated the Presby Moderator’s claim noting that several NDC bigwigs also tried to bribe him.

The outspoken prophet threatened to expose those corrupt politicians who tried bribing him if they don’t stop attacking Rev. Martey.

But Solomon Nkansah in a rebuttal on Adom News Thursday classified the clergymen men as “false prophets”.

He said just like God warned Prophet Jeremiah in the Bible about false prophets, the deeds of Prof. Martey and Owusu Bempah make them no exception.

“If truly Prof. Martey and Rev. Owusu Bempah are of God, the Holy Spirit will through them mention the names of those NDC people who tried bribing them” he stressed.

The NDC man said assuming without admitting that the claims are true, “what stops Rev, Martey and Owusu Bempah from naming the people who tried to bribe them”.

Solomon Nkansah summoned the two [Martey, Bempah] to God to deal ruthlessly with them for lying and maligning the Mahama-led government.
