Prez Mahama, Prophet Kobi, Attends Bob Okala’s funeral

Remains of Veteran Ghanaian Comedian Samuel Kwadwo Buabeng, popularly known as Bob Okala was yesterday interred at his hometown in Ashanti.

The funeral rite was held at the Arts Center in Accra.

The 59 year old Veteran Comedian died on Sunday, March 12 after collapsing on stage during a performance at the Jackson Park in Koforidua.

In a tribute, the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare eulogised the late comedian.

She recounted the days when Bob Okala started his professional life as a comedian adding that Ghanaians will forever remember him.

In attendance were President John Mahama , Prohet emmanuel Badu kobi, professionals in thr creative arts and some key figures of the ruling National Democratic Congress.
