Presidential Press Corp remembers late Ghanaian Times reporter Samuel Nuamah

Members of the Presidential Press Corps, Management of the New Times Corporation and family of the late Samuel Nuamah, today laid wreaths on his tomb to observe exactly one year of his passing.

Samuel Nuamah, until his tragic death was a member of the Presidential Press Corps and a reporter with the Ghanaian Times.

He died on the spot at Shai Hills in the Greater Accra Region when the vehicle they were travelling on back to Accra from Ho after an assignment with the President, had a tyre burst and somersaulted, killing Nuamah on the spot.

GBC’s Napoleon Ato Kitoe and Pascaline Adadevoh, were injured in the accident.

In an interview with Radio Ghana, Miss Adadevoh said a year on she has still not recovered emotionally and physically from the tragic accident.

She said the death of Samuel Nuamah has created a vacuum among members of the Presidential Press Corps.

Ms Adadevoh said she vividly remembers everything that happened on the 20th of August, last year and recounted how it all happened.
