President John Mahama, says it is only prudent for leaders to account for their stewardship during their term of office.
According to him, it’s a period that allows the people to make critical assessment.
President Mahama, was addressing the Chiefs and people of Dadiesoaba in Brong Ahafo at the start of his three day Accounting to the People tour of the region.http://ghanapoliticsonline.com
The President had earlier inaugurated the sixth Community Day Senior High School at Derma and later inspected the rehabilitation and expansion works on the Techimentia Polyclinic.http://ghanapoliticsonline.com
The Brong Ahafo region can be said to have gotten it’s fair share of the national cake. The region has benefited from road projects, schools, hospitals,water and electrification projects.
The euphoria with which the President was welcomed into the region showed that of a contented people.

President Mahama, justified why the Accounting To the People tour is important particularly in an election year.
He also mentioned some ongoing projects that the region is to benefit from.
President Mahama, pleaded with the Chiefs to exercise restraint with the construction of the roads.
He said government has a plan for the construction of roads and no district or town would be left out.
On his way to meet the Chiefs and people of Dadiesoaba, the President’s convoy was met by nursing students of a new Community health school in Dadiesoaba.
The students requested for a School bus to convey them for their clinicals and a hostel facility. President
Mahama assured them that a new bus will be delivered soon.
