President Mahama reiterates commitment to improve educational sector

President John Mahama has reiterated government’s resolve to improve the country’s educational system particularly, the tertiary sector.

He said one hundred and eighteen academic staff are to be recruited into the University of Professional Studies Accra, out of the one thousand and eighteen academic staff expected to be recruited into Public Universities across the country.

Speaking at the 8th Congregation of the University of Professional Studies Accra, President Mahama said the Technical Universities Bill which is before Parliament will provide the legal basis for converting ten Polytechnics into Universities.
