President Mahama Reiterates Commitment To Ensure Peaceful General Election

President John Mahama has pledged his commitment to meet the needs of the Electoral Commission to successfully run this year’s general election.

He said in doing this he will also be guided by the constitution and respect the independence of the Commission.

President Mahama made the comment in a speech read on his behalf by the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah at the closing ceremony of this year’s Synod of the Global Evangelical church in Accra.

He reiterated his commitment to ensure peaceful, free and fair elections.
