President Mahama Optimistic Of Ghana’s Economic Stability

The people of Yendi defied heavy rains to welcome President John Dramani Mahama to the Municipality Wednesday.

Hundreds of residents on foot, bicycles and motorbikes mobbed the President’s convoy on his way to the Kampakuyanaa’s palace to address a rally.

President Mahama in a speech touted his achievements in the provision of water, increasing access to education, expansion of electricity and improvement of the road network.

He said his administration achieved this in the midst of a global economic meltdown, unexplained fire outbreaks that hit the economy and widespread agitations on the labour front.

President Mahama was optimistic about Ghana’s economic stability and asked the people to vote for him for a second tenure in office.

President Mahama was happy that the labour front is stable. He said power supply has been extended to more areas in the SADA zone.

President Mahama also highlighted some gains made in the health sector. They range from the construction of new hospitals to expansion works on others nationwide.
