President Mahama has opened the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange to traffic. The interchange is expected to help ease traffic in the capital city.
According to president Mahama, the construction of the road network enabled direct and indirect jobs and its completion will enable more trade and employment.
He stated since time was money, the ease in commuting will facilitate movement which can free up time to undertake other chores.
He mentioned the intervention can ferry 80,000 vehicles during peak hours and about 200, 000 vehicles daily.
Kwame Nkrumah Interchange is said to be the longest and highest fly-over in West Africa.
The interchange links the ring road to Feoyeo to the North Industrial area.
