The infamous Kasoa traffic belongs to the past now as President Mahama, officially opens the newly constructed Interchange to traffic.
The interchange is expected to reduce vehicular traffic on the Accra-Cape Coast road and also minimize pressure on the N1 Highway.
Two years ago President Mahama, cut sod for the one hundred and sixty million dollar project which includes other ancillary works.
President Mahama, noted that such projects like the Interchange are transformational and will open up surrounding towns to economic activities.
The Kasoa interchange is fully financed by a loan facility from the Brazilian government with construction done by a Brazilian company Queiroz Galvao.
Meanwhile, President Mahama, will today inaugurate the Greater Accra regional hospital at Ridge. The old ridge hospital has been rehabilitated with ultra-modern facilities to improve health care delivery.
