President Mahama inspects upgrading of Dunkwa – Twifo Praso – Assin Fosu road

President Mahama has inspected the 20 kilometre upgrading of the Dunkwa-Twifo Praso-Assin Fosu road and the 60-bed Twifo Atti Mokwa District Hospital at Twifo Praso.

The President was optimistic that the project will be completed on schedule to benefit the people.

President Mahama said government will soon begin the construction of 10 polyclinics in the Central Region and the sod for the construction of the hospitals will be cut on Friday in Dawurampong.

The Twifomanhene Obrempong Appiah Nuamah appealed to the President to provide the Twifo Traditional Council with a vehicle to enhance the mobility of the chiefs.

He called for the construction of a bridge to link the communities. Chief of Atti Mokwa, Oseadeayor Kwesi Kenin thanked the President for providing the area its fair share of development.

He was also grateful to the government for the provision of a Senior High School, and a district hospital.

He appealed to President Mahama to provide buses for the Twifo Praso Nursing Training and the Atti Mokwa Traditional Council.

President Mahama said roads in the area have been added to the cocoa roads project and that explains why the contractor has begun work.

The President assured the people that the roads will be completed on schedule.
