President Mahama commissions Adobewora Community Day SHS

The President, John Dramani Mahama, has inaugurated the newly built Adobewora Community Day Senior High School in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.

The school has 24 classrooms, eight offices and 16 places of convenience.

Addressing the chiefs and people of the area, President Mahama, reiterated that his administration as part of measures to upgrade the standard of education will continue to expand Senior High schools in the country.

He said without good education, the country cannot improve on its human resource base. President Mahama said his government will fulfill its promise to the nation by expanding and upgrading senior high school education which he made in his 2012 campaign.http://ghanapoliticsonline.com/

He said the NDC government has so far constructed one hundred and 23 community day Senior High schools across the country. It has also procured text books for all public schools in the country.

President Mahama said with support from the IMF his administration will expand and improve on the educational system.

A member of the Adobewora community, Stephen Yeboah who spoke on behalf of the chiefs thanked the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration for the facility.
