President Mahama to commission Kasoa Interchange tomorrow

President John Mahama will November 29 inaugurate the first phase of a 160-million dollar interchange at Kasoa in the Central Region.

Communications Minister, Dr Omane Boamah announced this at a Meet-the-Press briefing Monday in Accra.

The project is a 270-metre interchange with two overpasses on the main Kasoa-Winneba Road, the 33-kilometre Kasoa-Obom-Amasaman Road and 20 kilometres of road in the Ga South Municipality and Kasoa.

Work began in December 2014.

The Kasoa interchange is financed by a loan facility from the Brazilian government and construction is being done by a Brazilian company Queiroz Galvao.

Minister of Communications Dr Omane Boamah listed other infrastructural projects the President is set to inaugurate.

They include the Kotokuraba Market in the Central Region and eight other Community Day Senior High Schools.
