President Mahama attends Chad President’s Investiture

President Mahama attends investiture of Chad President, Idriss Déby Itno, in N’Djamena.

President John Dramani Mahama on Monday visited N’Djamena to attend the investiture of President Idriss Déby Itno for a new term.

President Déby Itno who has been leader of Chad since 1990, won the elections in April 2016 but his investiture was fixed for today, August 08.

President Mahama has since returned home.
