President Mahama Arrives In Abidjan
President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Abidjan-Côte d’Ivoire, for an official visit at the invitation of his Ivorian counterpart President Alassane Ouattara.
Accompanied by his wife Lordina and a high powered government delegation, President Mahama was received at the Airport by President Ouattara and his wife.
President Mahama will be decorated with Côte d’Ivoire’s highest national award.
The President will also receive the key to Abidjan and be made an honorary citizen of Côte d’Ivoire.
Relations between Ghana and its western neighbour have seen tremendous improvement under the leadership of Presidents Mahama and Ouattara.
President Mahama will return to Accra on Thursday.
