Preparations are for advanced for the celebrations of Ghana`s independence day the 6th of March which falls on Sunday.

Most Christians would as usual want to go to church but George Ankrah finds out from a Presidential Staffer in charge of state ceremonies, Commodore Steve Obimpeh, whether the day would be marked with the usual march past in Accra and the Regional capitals or it would be rescheduled.

Commodore Obimpeh said the day would be celebrated as such.

He said this is not the first time 6th March would be celebrated on a Sunday therefore Ghanaians should endeavour to patronize the day across the country.
