PPP’s Freed Montie Contemnor, Alistair Nelson, Joins NDC

A member of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Alistair Nelson, who was part of the Montie 3 who got presidential pardon after court jailed them for contempt and threatening of Supreme Court judges, has stated categorically that he’s no longer a PPP member.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Ahotor 92.3fm political show “Adwenpo” with Kwabena Bobie Ansah, monitored by Ghanapoliticsonline.com, , he said that he’s now officially joining the ‘Akatamanso’ family because they have shown him much love. “I am not going to pay anyone in PPP or any opposition party back who was against my pardon.

“I have learnt a lot of lessons and the same way the president forgave me, I have also forgiving them, but from today, I am a full member of NDC” he declared.

Again, he explained that he had wanted to resign from PPP long ago but he was asked not to but now that NDC has shown that they love their members more than PPP, he has chosen NDC and Mahama.

He used the opportunity to urge all NDC members to focus on preaching the good works of the president and his government.
