Politicians asked not to lead Political Parties as though they are rebel groups

The Moderator of the Global Evangelical Church, Rt.Rev. Dr. Setorwu Kwadzo Ofori has admonished politicians not to lead their parties as though they are rebel groups especially as the country prepares for the general election.

He urged them to be patient and rather lead their followers to live in peace to ensure that this year’s election is devoid of violence.

Rt. Rev. Dr.Ofori was speaking at the climax of the annual Youth Ministry Camp Meeting of the Global Evangelical Church in Ho.

The event brought together more than four thousand participants from the 15 Presbyteries of the Church in Ghana and and Togo.

Rt. Rev.Dr. Ofori advised Ghanaians not to harbour anger against their neighbours because of their political affiliation saying that every Ghanaian has the right to choose a party.

The National Coordinator of the Youth Ministry of the Church, Hoenyeame Agbesinyale lauded the youth for their discipline throughout the event and urged them to put into practice what they were taught.
