The Police Administration has cautioned it will arrest and prosecute recruitment applicants who produce forged or fake documents at the next stage of its ongoing recruitment exercise, scheduled for Monday, 18th July to 22nd July.
The police say the forged documents could either be an academic certificate or a birth certificate.
The caution is contained in a statement announcing modalities for the next stage of the police recruitment process – the selection exercise.
The statement said the list of qualified applicants will be posted at all regional and district police commands as well as all police training schools across the country by Wednesday, 13th July.
The statement issued on Friday and signed by the Director/Public Affairs, Supt. Cephas Arthur requested all qualified candidates to visit the named police commands and police training schools closest to them on Wednesday, July 13 to find out where they have been placed for the selection exercise.
Applicants can also log onto the police website: www.police.gov.gh with effect from 13th July 2016 for the same information.
“On the reporting day-18th July, 2016, qualified candidates are required to bring along the following document and items.
Copy of the print out of reply to online application indicating their qualification to the next stage.
Original copy of birth certificate.
Original Copy of J.H.S certificate.
Original copy of S.H.S certificate
Two (2) passport-size photographs
“Candidates are also advised to make arrangement to stay for the entire duration of the process.”
