The Salaga Police in the Northern Region has granted bail to the driver of the PPP vehicle that knocked and killed three people.
Salaga Police Commander DSP Kofi Amenu said the driver reported himself to the police and was subsequently granted bail for investigations to continue.
“The driver came to the police station himself. He has been granted bail and investigations are ongoing.”
Meanwhile, the Presidential nominee Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom is expected to visit the families of the deceased and also visit the hospitalised child “to commiserate with them and discuss any other issue that will follow.”

In a statement from Dr Nduom’s communication team, it said: “the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) is very much distraught about the death of three of our party supporters in Salaga in the Northern Region.”
“The enthusiastic youth were on their way to attend a rally at Salaga.”

The statement added that the rumour that the said accident involved Dr Nduom’s convoy is false.
Three Fulanis are dead after a campaign vehicle belonging to the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) knocked them down at Salaga in the Northern region.
According to Accra-based Starr FM the three died on the spot while a child who they were travelling with is in a critical condition at the Salaga Government Hospital.
