Outbreak of Swine Flu; The larger population is at risk – Dr Omane Boamah

Former Minister of Communication under the erstwhile National Democratic Congress administration, Dr Edward Omane Boamah has stated that the larger population is at risk considering the murky mismanagement by the appropriate authorities.

There have been over twenty cases of death in the last quarter of 2017 allegedly resulting from the outbreak of Swine Flu in our Senior High Schools.

Government appointees including the Minister for Health, Minister for Education and health sector directors keep giving contradicting information on the efforts of government to curb this disaster

There have been a major outcry by Ghanaians calling on the government to show competence by outlining emergency measures to salvage the situation

In a Facebook post captured by Ghanapoliticsonline.com, Dr Edward Omane Boamah the insensitivity is appalling and the larger population is at a major risk.

On recent Swine Flu murky mismanagement: The insensitivity is appalling and GHANA has become a laughing stock. The larger population is at a major risk now. We need a major intervention now before schools vacate. It is possible! As for Meningitis the least said, the better.
