OPEN LETTER TO KWAME SEFA KAYI,  SPOKESPERSON IN WAITING FOR PRESIDENT,   DR NANA ADDO DANKWA AKUFO-ADDO.

Dear Kwame,

The night of today will mark exactly One month when you came with Director of Communication for the New Patriotic Party Nana Akomea and cousin of the offshore Presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo who is the Apagyahene of Kyebi,  Nana Asante Bediatuo to the  African Regent Hotel. Having pre-book a room in the hotel, the three of you went straight into the room. I trust you are doing good and not taken aback by how I had this information.

Kwame, On June 2nd 2016, after the Acra High Court room-1 delivered its “Kangaroo” judgement in the matters of Second national vice Chairman of the NPP Vs NPP, you took it into the airwaves and as usual of your mercenary self, you mischievously diluted the news with tasteless insinuations. You deliberately poisoned the public with these recycled rhetorical phrase and I quote “the disagreement within the NPP is just because some people don’t want Nana to be President”. Luckily, the usual gullible suspects who have invariably denounced common sense and independent reasoning for fanatism and eye-service to Akufo-Addo rather went to town with this falsely over flogged propaganda espoused by lackeys of Akufo-Addo such as your self, Ken Agyapong, Obiri Boahene etc

Kwame, by virtue of you been my distanced in-law, I have chosen to be measured in my words. My religion teaches me to enlighten the ignorant.  Let me attempt to see if I can help you to think independently. In your words you said “some people don’t want Nana to be President”. Throughout the chequered history of the Dankwa-Busia-Dombo tradition,  Nana Akufo-Addo is the first Presidential candidate to have dwarfed or if you like depreciated the electoral fortunes of our tradition. Past Results from 1992 vindicates this point. Candidate Kufour won over emeritus flagbearer , Prof Adu Boahene and the seasoned faces like Dr Djane Selby etc.  Candidate Kufour appreciated the results garnered in 1992 by a 60% proportion and went ahead to appreciate our results in 2000 first round and same increment in the 2000 second round elections. In 2004, His ever excellency , the Peerless President Kufour shot up our vote by winning a resounding 52%. 2008 first round, Candidate Nana Akufo-Addo took over from a sitting President who has taken Ghana from a low income economy to a middle income status by providing exceptionally human-impacted policies such as the NHIS, School Feeding, Free Maternal Care which had reduced infant mortality rate, Affordable transportation,  etc. President Kufour bequeathed with the hugest of financial, human and material resources to Candidate Akufo-Addo. We all witnessed to the well oiled campaign of Akufo-Addo, the rich luminous  bill boards and transparent signage of Akufo-Addo against the pro-poor wooden and metalic billboards of candidate Atta-Mills at that time.Kwame, We saw your inordinate desire to become the spokesman of President Akufo-Addo as at that time. We saw how the lazy Akufo-Addo rented the services of profane musicians such as Daddy Lumba,  A-plus , Kwabena Kwabena etc to help him Dance on Funfair Campaign trail. We witnessed how Ken Agyapong contemptuously told Fantes “Mo P33 Monto, Mo P3 Nso aa Ma Mon to aba no mma y3n” to wit “You can chose to vote for us or not, we shall win the elections” . We saw how Akufo-Addo projected Mame Dokonor over the seasoned Politician Hon Christine churcher in Cape Coast.  That notwithstanding,  Candidate Nana Akufo-Addo managed in all his effort to reduce our voter percentage from 52% to 49% in the first round. He went into the second round of that elections, and Nana Akufo-Addo true to his own actions, managed to dwarf NPP votes further . After losing this elections, as usual of him, Nana Akufo-Addo never took responsibility for his defeat but hired the services of a multi-coloured skin boy, his Exconvict Rastafarian Cousin now turned Political Risk Analyst Gabby Okyere Darko, etc to open the flooddgates where they heap insults and blames at the Peerless President Kufour as the cause of Akufo-Addo’s defeat. The multi colored skin amateur was later known us Mustapha Hamid  who Akufo-Addo appointed as his spokesperson.

In 2012, aside President Kufour through his contacts raised and contributed little over $ 48 million to Akufo-Addo’s campaign, he dedicated himself to the campaign.  He was seen with Ken Agyapong in the “HAVE YOUR SAY” campaign in areas of the western, Eastern Ashanti,  Greater, Volta and Central Region. There came a time where the militant Akufo-Addo declared the infamous “ALL DIE BE DIE” as his campaign message.  This has become an albatross around the neck of NPP’s fortune. Ken Agyapong declared WAR, by Calling on GA’s and Ewe’s to be killed.  This among other bad actions of Akufo-Addo culminated in the further decline of our electoral fortune to a miserable 47% in 2012.
Kwame, were  Chairman Sammy Crabbe ,Chairman Afoko ,Kwabena Agyepong holding any position in both 2008 and 2012 which saw Akufo-Addo reducing our electoral fortunes from 52% to 47% ?
Did Chairman Afoko, Kwabena Agyepong or Chairman Crabbe forced Akufo-Addo to declare ALL DIE BE DIE?
Did Chairman Crabbe Kwabena or chairman Afoko compel Ken Agyepong to spew the infamous “Kill GAs’ and Ewes’ ?

Coming into the 2016 elections, we went to Tamale to elect our National Executives at the highest decision making body of the party. Upon the comfortable and distinguished Businessman Paul Afoko picking his nomination forms to contest that elections, known Akufo-Addo loyalist had leveled spurious allegations against him. This same Most Reverend Asante Antwi who sat in the ill composed In-Disciplinary Committee that illegally suspended Chairman Afoko was the same Chairman of the vetting Committee which considered frivolous and unfounded petitions against Chairman Afoko from faceless strangers. The vetting committee till date, could not even tell who the petitioners were, except to take Chairman Paul Afoko  as far as the International Police (INTERPOL) in UK. After 6 weeks of deliberate stalling his campaign, the INTERPOL wrote to clear Chairman Afoko saying that “The subject you referred to, as, Paul Afoko, is not known to any police offense”. Among the allegations from the camp of the tinpot dictator “No Nana No Vote” was that “Paul Afoko and KAA did not want Nana ADDO to be flagbearer”. Now they win their elections and Akufo-Addo who has failed in moral aspect of life and the Presidential elections thinks in his wildest dream that  his second shot is to arrogantly assume himself as the LEADER OF THE PARTY, shortly after he was elected, Flagbearer of the party. Chairman Afoko inherited a miserable Ghc 89 in the party’s account from the old executives led By Chairman Jake.

In 2015, Chairman Paul Afoko tabled before the party’s National Council that the proceeds raised from the sale of parliamentary primary forms be divided into three components because his plan was to resource and reinvigorate the grassroots since the elections petition at the Supreme Court advised that, all elections is won at the polling station, ie, New Plan For Power.  It was agreed at the national council that, the proceeds be divided into the ratio 40:20:40. Where 40% will go directly constituencies, 20% will remain with National,  and 40% will go to regional.  The 40% which sums as Ghc 25,000 each multiply by 275 constituencies will be shared into three. Where Ghc 10,000 will be sent to all 275 constituencies first, for a smooth organization of the Parliamentary Primaries. That,  Ghc 5,000 each will be sent for uplifting the face, retooling and equipping of each of the 275 constituency offices . The last Ghc 10,000 shall be sent to each of the 275 constituencies as a seed money for the 2016 campaign.  We all know the wahala that greeted the first disbursement of Ghc 10,000 to each of the 275 constituencies for the parliamentary Primaries in June 13 2015. Freddie Blay in a letter of his lawyer,Godfred Dame indicated that, Akufo-Addo ordered him and the National Treasure to divert the party’s funds into a secret location which later turned out to be a dormant account at ecobank trust towers branch. Kwame,  with this good intent of Chairman Afoko, do you still hold on to your warp propaganda that “some people don’t want Nana to be President”? Kwame, who apart from Nana ADDO will enjoy much when the NPP comes to power? Yet you have seen his dishonest acts and how he pulls the strings from behind?

Former first vice Chairman Fred Oware started the sophisticated approach of registering party members and issuing them with a more comprehensive identification card. His term of office elapsed and he handed over to second vice Chairman Sammy Crabbe. This was approved by NEC and the finance committee which was mandated by the committee on matters of fund raising opened up the tender process. National Treasure Abankwa Yeboah brought a proposal from his company but after several leniency and directions given to it by the committee which he was secretary to, his company failed to meet the requirements of the committee and the contract was therefore awarded to a competent company based on transparency. So the highly sophisticated ID card is linked with the Omanye which creates a bank account for each registrant where one can make his donations at their own convenience, and their contributions goes directly into the Main Accounts of the party and not into any body’s account. This was fiercely fought against by the National Treasure openly on radio just because his company failed to win the bid. So to truncate this innovation, the tribal bigot Akufo-Addo looked out for two Ga’s to petition against Chairman Crabbe and they suspended him. Today Akufo-Addo has managed to develop an aspect of what Chairman Crabbe started in the name of “IAMFORNANA APPLICATION”. Unlike this, whose transparency and accountability cannot be guaranteed,  the one started by Chairman Crabbe allowed members to make purchases online through their debit card, shop paraphernalias etc and a great guarantee of transparency and accountability.
Kwame, who apart from Akufo-Addo would have enjoyed from this highly powered tool by Chairman Crabbe that, was set to boosting membership drive?

After Akufo-Addo won his election in 2014 as the flagbearer of the party, National Chairman Paul Afoko met with Professors from the University of Ghana, Legon,  and tasked them to conduct a very transparent and prudent research on flagbearer Akufo-Addo in all 275 constituencies across Ghana.  This research in the view of Chairman Afoko was to help ascertain why the party lost in 2008 and 2012, what the unique needs and demands of each constituency were, etc to help in proper carving of campaign message , Manifesto and pragmatic decision taking.  The Professorss’ bill for this extensive and laborious exercise was Ghc 150,000.  Kwame my In law,  Chairman Paul Afoko who in your sycophantic and myopic mindset think does not wish your thin god Nana Akufo-Addo to become President, dipped his hands into his personal pocket and cash paid Ghc 75,000 to the learned Professorss’ to undertake such exercise for Nana Akufo-Addo.  I guess in your mindless and thoughtless self, Chairman Afoko would enjoy much more than Dr Akufo-Addo should the Party win in 2016?

I will leave it here and may be discuss why Akufo-Addo whose numerical strength expressed in percentage is 47% . But the magician Akufo-Addo, your thin god, thinks the strategy in getting the 50%+1 threshold that will make him President is to sack the attractive numbers in his 47%.

May God help elevate you from abject sycophancy and peddling of absurd propaganda.  I pray, God uplifts you from the dangers of over flogging that recycled incongruous rhetoric “some people do not want Nana to be President”.
