ONE LOVE ONE GHANA FOUNDATION COMMENCE “ONE LOVE ELIMINATION OF SCHOOLS UNDER TREES” PROJECT

It is said that little drops of water makes a mighty ocean and it is in this light that ONE LOVE ONE GHANA FOUNDATION, an NGO which is now focusing on education is starting its “one love elimination of schools under trees” project at Akwamu Kotoku Basic School in the Fanteakwa District in the Eastern Region.

Speaking to the president of the foundation, Mr. Adomako Fred Williams he said that the foundation is made up of young Ghanaians who believe that bringing together the little energies of all the people in various areas where schools in bad conditions not conducive for learning can help compliment the efforts of Central government in our quest to win the war against “schools under trees” as a nation.Ghanapoliticsonline.com

He said a research conducted by the foundation revealed that most parents in rural areas where most of these schools under trees are located prefer to take their kids along to the farm instead of letting them go to school because they believe the kids are going to be under trees in both cases but they can offer them a helping hand in their farms and so putting up good structures will be a motivation for these parents to allow their children go to school for the good of the children, their parents, their communities and the nation at large.

Asked about how they are going to fund these projects, Mr. Adomako Fred Williams said in the case of Akwamu Kotoku for instance, they met with the opinion leaders there and the DCE and the people agreed to provide labour. The DCE, Hon. Abass Fuseini Sbaabe also promised to provide some of the needed building materials while members of ONE LOVE ONE GHANA FOUNDATION will also contribute to provide the remaining building materials required for the project. He said this is how they intend funding every single project the foundation undertakes since they are yet to secure any sponsorship from corporate Ghana.

He used the opportunity to call on corporate Ghana, celebrities and all Ghanaians to come on board the “ONE LOVE ELIMINATION OF SCHOOLS UNDER TREES” project and help put smiles on the faces of children in communities with such schools by replacing them with befitting structures as we compliment the effort of Central government to win the war against schools under trees as Ghanaians. He said “we are all involved in building our motherland (Ghana)” and asked anyone interested in supporting this project to call 0242676508 or 0207707908.
