Motherhood, a call to Duty

Age is but a transit for female child to reach womanhood but motherhood is a call to duty.

No mother is jobless because being a mother is a 24/7 full time job with unimaginable duties and responsibilities.
If there is any worker who deserve a medal, it is the mother.

I wish to take advantage of this beautiful occasion to celebrate my mother……… and all the mother figures in my life. I appreciate the corrections and contributions you made to my life. I don’t know what I would have done without your continues guidance even at my adulthood.

And to all the special mothers who took care of others as if they were their own, I say u deserve this celebration more than anyone. You may not have had your own but you loved and cared for others more than some biological mothers could do.

But I doof my hat out to all single mothers of whom I am one, i have felt your pain and anguish but I have also enjoyed God’s special grace for single mothers. As a single mother, you are compelled to be a man and woman at the same time, a father and a mother to your children, you are the head and also the neck of your family.

Sometimes it’s even more difficult training the male children as a single mother because you must learn the art of correcting with the left hand and pampering with the right hand. But thanks be to God for that special grace to correct and guide our children in living an upright life before Him.

Many a times we go through lot of stress playing dual roles and going the extra mile to fend for ourselves and our children. But the good news is that when the men left, God stayed! The father for the fatherless and husband for the widows stayed with us through thick and thin.
Indeed, the God of single mothers is an awesome God. He never disappoints

I pray that all women will be blessed with the fruit of the womb to experience the great joy that comes with being a mother.
