Some supporters of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) are said to have assaulted constituency secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Awutu Senya West in the Central region at a polling station.
The victim, Essibu Yartey said his only crime was to prevent his attackers from registering minors in the limited registration exercise at Korle-bu electoral area in Senya Breku.
