NPP peddling lies against EC as EC fails to give Pinksheet Contract to Akufo-Addo’s financier

the Statesman Newspaper, a known propaganda print media owned by flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party Nana Akufo-Addo , carried a fabricated story  with the mischievous intent to further bruise the hard earned credibility and integrity of the Electoral Commission of Ghana and it’s chairperson Madam Charlotte Osei.

The mischief in that outright fabricated story can be realised from the misleading headline “EC AWARDS PINKSHEET CONTRACT TO A COLLAPSE UK FIRM.” Subsequently , the office of the Electoral Commission released a statement debunking such false publication from the Statesman Newspaper describing the statesman as “mischievous” and a “propaganda newspaper” on a wild goose chase.

Upon further investigation by our news team, we can authoritavely confirm that, The “Buck Press” much talked about by prominent loyalist of Nana Akufo-Addo such as Gabby Asare Okyere-Darko is owned by one, Mr Kofi Buckman, a known and all time financier of Nana Akufo-Addo’s Presidential campaign.

According to high placed sources at the New Patriotic Party’s Asylum Down Headquarters, the said Mr Kofi Buckman has been attending “all our NPP party meetings ever since Akufo-Addo was elected Presidential Candidate of the NPP in 2007.” Further establishing the relationship between Buckman and the party, the source pointed out that, “Buckman is a long time friend of our former Chairman and now campaign manager Peter Mc Manu. It was through Mc Manu that, Buckman partnered Nana Akufo-Addo.”

Meanwhile, a UK based political commentator has described the propaganda action triggered by Akufo-Addo and his surrogates as “drumming home a false alarm all in a sureptitious attempt to set an agenda in motion where they were going to blame the Electoral Commision or whoever they do not like after the outcome of the 2016 December 7 elections”. Sections of the public have described Akufo-Addo and his cronies as a bunch of “Sour grapes”. Some even alleged that, Kofi Buckman has promised the Akufo-Addo campaign to give them 60% of the monies he would have realised or gained from this contract “It has really hurt Akufo-Addo and his surrogates as they thought the EC would be giving the contract to Akufo-Addo’s surrogate Mr Kofi Buckman so that he will fulfil his promise to Akufo-Addo, thus , giving back 60% of monies realised from that contract to support Akufo-Addo’s 2016 presidential campaign”
